For many, the holiday period will be a joyous period of celebration and time spent with friends and family. For others it can feel incredibly lonely and isolating, spending time alone and wondering whether the phone will ring. Our elderly population is disproportionately impacted by the loneliness crisis but thankfully there are organisations like Age Concern helping address these issues.
During the festive period, Age Concern Epsom and Ewell arrange a variety of events for the local community, including the upcoming Candlelit Christmas Concert hosted by comedian Tim Vine on Friday 5th December.
