Firewall Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated Extended Expertise Consultant to provide hands-on support and technical expertise for NGFW environments within a large enterprise customer setting in Riyadh. The consultant will be responsible for operational support, firewall administration, policy management, software upgrades, troubleshooting, and assisting with the adoption of security technologies.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform administration and support of Palo Alto Networks firewall environments.
• Execute firewall software upgrades, patching activities, and system maintenance.
• Configure, implement, and manage security policies in line with customer requirements.
• Conduct firewall rule reviews, modifications, and optimisation activities.
• Troubleshoot network security incidents and resolve firewall-related technical issues.
• Support change management processes for firewall configuration updates.
• Work with internal teams and customer stakeholders to maintain a secure and stable network security posture.
• Provide technical recommendations and best-practice guidance relating to firewall operations.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis involving network security technologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Quickly learn and support new technologies introduced within the customer environment.
