Senior Network Engineer

Are you a highly experienced Network Consultant with deep expertise across Cisco SDA, SD-WAN, VXLAN and ACI? We're looking for a senior-level professional to join a major enterprise transformation programme, helping customers modernise their network and data centre environments while acting as a trusted technical advisor.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of modern Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions, including Cisco SDA and SD-WAN
Deliver and support complex Cisco Data Centre deployments, focusing on VXLAN and ACI
Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders, providing guidance on infrastructure strategy, technology roadmaps and best practices
Resolve complex technical challenges across networking, security, servers, storage, virtualisation, operating systems and applications
Develop migration strategies and implementation plans for large-scale enterprise environments
Support Project Managers in managing project risks, issues, resources and deliverables
Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed methodologies, governance and operational standards
Mentor and guide engineers and consultants, helping drive successful customer outcomes
Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for future services and engagements

Required Experience

15+ years' experience delivering Professional Services within enterprise networking environments
Expert knowledge of Enterprise Routing & Switching
Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with Cisco SDA and Cisco SD-WAN
Strong experience designing, implementing and operating Cisco ACI
Deep understanding of VXLAN-based Data Centre architectures
Excellent knowledge of MPLS within Enterprise environments
Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
Experience working across architecture, design, implementation and operational support functions
Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving abilities
