About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced MicroStrategy Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience to join a large-scale Data & Analytics programme leveraging the Teradata platform within the Banking & Financial Services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions that enable critical operational, analytical, and regulatory decision-making.

This role requires strong expertise in MicroStrategy, Teradata, SQL, data warehousing, and stakeholder engagement within highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, dossiers, and analytics applications.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and reporting requirements from key stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and business intelligence solutions.
• Develop executive dashboards, operational reports, KPI scorecards, and management reporting capabilities.
• Build and optimise Intelligent Cubes, metrics, attributes, prompts, filters, and reporting objects.
• Work extensively with Teradata Data Warehouse environments to support reporting and analytical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with business users, data engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Support regulatory, compliance, risk, and management reporting initiatives where required.
• Optimise reporting performance and troubleshoot platform, reporting, and data-related issues.
• Participate in solution design workshops, testing activities, deployment, and post-production support.
• Ensure adherence to reporting governance, security standards, and BI best practices.
• Provide recommendations on reporting strategy, performance improvements, and platform optimisation.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience working with MicroStrategy technologies within enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise across MicroStrategy Architecture, Reporting, Dashboards, Dossiers, Intelligent Cubes, and Administration.
• Proven experience working within Teradata Data Warehouse environments.
• Advanced SQL development, data analysis, and query optimisation skills.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling principles.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale BI, reporting, and analytics solutions.
• Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Regulatory, Central Banking, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience supporting business-critical reporting and analytics functions.
