Cloud Solution Architect - Azure Infrastructure

Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to design, advise on, and support complex Microsoft cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers across the Asia/ANZ region.
• The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise across Azure Local, Azure Stack technologies, hybrid cloud infrastructure, SAP on Azure, Microsoft identity and security, complemented by strong Azure networking and Windows Server capabilities.
• This is a senior, customer-facing technical role requiring an architect who can operate across both strategy and hands-on technical delivery. You will work with customers to understand business and technical requirements, develop secure and resilient architectures, provide technical leadership during implementation and migration, and troubleshoot complex issues across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and technical design of complex Azure, hybrid cloud and on-premises Microsoft infrastructure solutions.
• Design and advise on solutions using Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI, Azure Stack Hub and related Azure hybrid technologies.
• Architect highly available and resilient infrastructure for SAP workloads running on Azure, with particular emphasis on the underlying Azure infrastructure.
• Design, assess and modernise enterprise identity and authentication architectures spanning Active Directory and Microsoft Entra.
• Provide technical leadership across AD DS, ADFS, ADCS, PKI, certificate services and hybrid identity environments.
• Design secure Microsoft Entra solutions covering identity protection, Conditional Access, MFA, governance, external identities and application access.
• Develop network architectures spanning Azure and customer datacentres, including private connectivity, routing, security and application delivery.
• Advise customers on infrastructure migration and modernisation strategies, including Azure Migrate, Azure Arc and Site Recovery.
• Design secure, highly available Windows Server infrastructure and support customers modernising existing datacentre environments.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code and automation using technologies such as Bicep and Terraform.
• Produce architecture documentation, technical designs, migration plans and recommendations aligned to customer requirements and Microsoft best practices.
• Lead technical workshops and architecture discussions with infrastructure, security, networking, application and leadership stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and security challenges and provide technical guidance through implementation and operationalisation.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, translating business requirements into practical, secure and supportable technical architectures.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across complex customer engagements.
