XSOAR Firewall Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Cortex XSOAR playbooks and automation workflows.
• Integrate Palo Alto Networks firewalls with XSOAR to automate security and operational tasks.
• Automate firewall policy management, rule reviews, object creation, and change processes.
• Develop automated incident response workflows for security events and firewall-related alerts.
• Integrate XSOAR with SIEM, ticketing, IAM, CMDB, and other security platforms.
• Create custom scripts using Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs to extend XSOAR functionality.
• Collaborate with Network Security, SOC, and Infrastructure teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Monitor and optimise automated workflows to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of firewall and automation-related issues.
