Paul Clark and Richard Wilson launched Penta Consulting in 1998 as a pioneering technical recruitment consultancy based on passion, professionalism and partnership. Since then the company has grown exponentially into one of the UK’s most dynamic staffing solutions providers. 

Penta was set up as a recruitment business with customers at its heart and over the past decade we have shared in our clients’ expansion and success both in the UK and globally.  We have developed a successful and profitable business that has consistently outperformed key competitors and the market.  We have consistently reinvested into the company to fuel fast track organic growth and we have expanded our service lines to clients in order to gain higher levels of business.

We were placed 64th in the 2007 prestigious Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 league table which measures Britain’s fastest-growing private companies by profit growth over the last three years.  Penta’s annual profit growth of 58% year on year created its position as the highest ranked recruitment company. Since then we have continued to grow organically and expand overseas and we currently place high calibre technical staff in 85 countries around the world.

At our UK headquarters in Wallington, Surrey our headcount is around 80 with a further 25 Penta staff across our international network of 21 offices and partnerships.
