Beating off stiff competition from more than half the UK recruitment market to win two top ATSCo awards has made a significant impact on everyone at Penta Consulting. Apart from the fact we are all thrilled there is nothing more impressive for customers, be they clients, contractors, candidates or indeed our own staff, than positive third party endorsement. We can say we’re good at what we do, but gaining two such high profile industry awards really says it all for us and such strong acknowledgement from our industry puts us in a very robust position.
We will be sharing our success with all our different customers and professional partners and it gives each and every employee an excellent reason to be proud of working for Penta and that’s hugely motivating. In our industry it’s all about adding value for clients and these award wins certainly add value to the Penta proposition and that in turn makes our job easier.
The criteria for the Staffing Company of the Year award covers a wide field and includes best practice excellence in client and candidate management, employee development and community involvement as well as our success in taking a leadership position within the technical staffing industry. It’s given us a stamp of approval not only for what we do, but also for the way in which we do it and that means that our systems, processes and procedures are among the very best in the industry. It also reflects on our commitment to investing in our staff with excellent and relevant training and development and providing them with good reasons to stay with us. Ambitious recruiters all want to work for successful profitable companies and winning industry awards helps us to raise our profile and attract and retain the very best recruiters in the marketplace.
The Innovator of the Year award acknowledged that Penta’s new recruitment software WebSourceV3 is the most innovative idea conceived over the past 12 months and that it will have a significant short and long-term impact on the way the technical staffing industry operates. In terms of development its key differentiator to other products is that it is designed by ‘clients for clients’ and as a proposition it is offered as a value-add to our customers rather than as a fee generator in its own right.
WebSourceV3 has been developed entirely by our in-house ICT team headed up by Wayne Palmer who says. “Winning this award is a terrific shot in the arm for the team who have worked so hard not only on the initial development but on consistently improving the way it works and expanding its capabilities. Unlike similar products which have been developed by software companies WebSourceV3 was born out of a belief that we because we live and breathe staffing solutions we could create a product which truly offered customers a breakthrough in recruitment software.”
By streamlining and automating the traditional hiring process with built in procedures that mirror an individual company’s own HR systems we can change the way we work with our clients and give them a number of significant added value benefits. We have already secured a number of high profile contracts and we are very excited about the potential for this new product - WebsourceV3 is top or our agenda for 2007. Winning an award at this stage of its development really does provide strong credibility and it will form a key strand in our business and marketing strategy.
Both these awards reflect our commitment to remaining true to our fundamental business principles of ’listening’ to customers and putting their needs at the centre of our operation. Whilst all recruitment companies say they listen to their clients, Penta is one of very few that genuinely lives up to their promise. This customer centric approach combined with an ability to develop mould-breaking solutions for organisations both here in the UK and globally is at the heart of our success.
The judging panel commented: "Penta is an organisation that has demonstrated an outstanding awareness and belief in ’good old’ traditional professional values. Their rapid, impressive growth and success in both the UK and International markets have been achieved as a consequence of their effective planning, investment, sound management principles and practices. One of the factors that singled them out was their teamwork which was clearly evident both in their award entries and during their interviews."
Paul Clark, Managing Director, Penta Consulting said, "I’d like to thank everyone at Penta for making 2006 a landmark year for us. Gaining this level of industry recognition is a great moment for us as it confirms that we have a leading edge position in our marketplace. Raising standards and actively supporting ATSCo, so that clients, contractors, candidates and recruiters have confidence in their selection of an ATSCo member is important to us. We’ve had a winning streak over the past 12 months which has included us winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise but the ATSCo awards are in a class of their own and securing them definitely strengthens our position as a leader in our field." |
