Meet the Directors

Paul Clark & Richard Wilson founded Penta Consulting in 1998, they built a company that was founded on four core values; Honesty, Integrity, Commitment, and Delivery. John Foley

John Foley – Chairman

John is a qualified Barrister and Chartered Accountant who has served on the Boards of a number of private and public companies ranging from radio stations to foundry groups. He was Chief Executive of MacLellan Group plc (a provider of facilities management services) from 1994 to 2006. When he joined that Group in October 1994 it employed just 60 people but it was developed into a group employing 15,000 people and turning over £230 million when it was sold to Interserve Plc in June 2006 for £120 million. John has recruitment industry experience since he served on the board of Lorien plc until its sale in 2007 and he is currently a director of Servoca Plc.

Paul Clark – Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Paul is co-founder and CEO of Penta Consulting Limited. Prior to setting up the Company in 1998, Paul spent two years with a large recruitment firm. Paul won the prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year” title at the 2012 Sutton Business Awards and has been shortlisted for the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” award twice.


Jamie Sobrany

Jamie Sobrany – Group Managing Director

Jamie joined Penta in 2002 specifically to establish the mobile telecommunications division. Since then he has been instrumental in building a highly successful international mobile computing business at Penta, cultivating global partnerships and setting up Penta offices across the world. From a standing start Jamie and a small team focused on penetrating the vendor markets, whilst establishing a network of immigration solutions; within four years the area had established itself as a major brand in the telecoms market turning over more than £20m. Jamie was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2004 and took the position of Group Managing Director in 2011.


Ian Storrier

Ian Storrier FCCA – Chief Financial Officer

Ian joined Penta in 2007 and is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Legal and I.T and possesses varied sector experience. For the past 15 years Ian has worked at a senior level with businesses that have major international operations. During his tenure at Penta, Ian has established a strong track record of system enhancement and has made significant improvements to management information reporting. In 2009 Ian was shortlisted for “Financial Director of the Year” in the Fast Growing Business Awards.


Peter Collins

Richard Wilson – Non Executive Director

Richard is a dynamic sales professional who co-founded Penta Consulting in 1998,and was instrumental in making Penta Consulting one of the UK’s leading providers of IT and Telco staffing services. Richard has more than 20 years’ experience in the banking and financial IT recruitment industry which he brings to the business now as a non executive director.


Peter Collins

Peter Collins – Non Executive Director

Peter joined Penta in 1999 after three years with a large publicly quoted competitor, Peter has held sales and management responsibilities across a number of Penta’s business units. In particular, he has extensive knowledge and experience across the traditional Contract Solutions business and more recently the Managed Solutions division. Peter now has direct sales responsibilities for Penta’s European Managed Solutions clients, as well as maintaining his directorship on the Group Board committee.

Aminesh Patel

Aminesh Patel – Executive Director – Managed Solutions

Aminesh joined Penta in 2003 and has progressed rapidly through the organisation. His natural sales skills along with his business acumen took him from consultant to a managerial position in the space of four years. In 2010 he set up and ran Penta’s Managed Solutions Division. Today Aminesh has highly skilled project teams located across 12 countries delivering consultancy and technical support services to many of the world’s leading technology companies. A shareholder since 2008, Aminesh was appointed the Board of Directors in 2016.


Ian O’Neil

Ian O’Neill – Executive Director – Sales

Ian has over 19 years’ industry experience working in the IT & Telecoms market. In the past five years, he has focused driving the growth of both key strategic customers and new markets across the EMEA region. Ian is responsible for Penta’s New Business Strategy and all new sales activities globally. He is an experienced leader, directing and managing large teams of high performing sales consultants and operational support staff in the UK and overseas. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2016.


Adam Olver

Adam Olver – Executive Director – Corporate Accounts

Adam joined Penta in 2006 and has rapidly progressed through Penta’s Training and Development Programme. He is focussed on customer relationship management and has a successful track record for delivering significant business wins. Adam’s accomplishments include aligning Penta’s capabilities to customer strategy and market trends, expanding the service and product portfolio, taking new solutions to market, and facilitating cost savings.


David Perry

David Perry – Penta Tech CEO

David is a technology leader, entrepreneur and innovator. With over 30 years’ experience, he has held senior roles including CEO, COO and CTO in both start-ups and mature organisations. He has worked in both government and commercial organisations, including Central Government, Banking and Financial Services, Telecoms, Commodities, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, IT and Retail sectors.

As CEO of Penta Tech, David’s expertise include: programme and project management, technical design authority and continues to lead all R & D activities.
